PlayStation maintains its reputation by its high-quality exclusives, from God of War Ragnarok to the Uncharted series. Recently, Sony has been putting more and more of these games on PC, finally limiting their exclusivity. We’re expecting several titles to drop in 2023 and keeping our ears open for rumors. Here are the PlayStation exclusives coming to PC in 2023.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Although this technically dropped last year, PC gamers can finally appreciate the most recent critically acclaimed Uncharted games in all their glory. Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Lost Legacy are now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. These two visually stunning action titles require a whopping 126 GB of space, though their specs aren’t too demanding. Enjoy these excellent titles in 4k and with a silky smooth frame rate, while we continue to wait for news of the franchise’s future.
Returnal
Housemarque’s third-person roguelike presents the team’s signature challenging bullet-hell gameplay in a compelling, atmospheric shooter that’s as brutal as it is compelling. Returnal, which was warmly received by both critics and fans, is set to release on PC early in 2023. The game will undoubtedly include the Tower of Sisyphus endless mode that was added post-release. So, if you’re looking for a tough roguelike that doesn’t hold your hand and an intriguing Metroid-like sci-fi world to explore, seek out Returnal when it launches on PC.
The Last of Us: Part 1
Next, we have Naughty Dog’s remake of their 2013 hit The Last of Us. The remake, which launched on PlayStation 5 back in September, provides a fresh coat of paint to an almost ten-year-old game. It enhances the visuals, increases the resolution and frame rate, as well as offering a suite of gameplay tweaks and improvements. Just in time for the HBO show, PC gamers can experience the origins of Joel and Ellie’s journey through an apocalyptic wasteland. The Last of Us Part 1 is set to release on PC in march.
Ghost of Tsushima
Finally, we’re expecting Sucker Punch’s 2020 title to drop on PC in 2023. Although Sony has yet to announce it, the rumor mill has been turning. The acclaimed open-world stealth-action game, set in feudal Japan, combines satisfying sword combat with a beautiful world to explore and a compelling narrative. This is one title that’s overdue for a PC port, so we’re hoping to hear news about this PlayStation exclusive soon.
PlayStation Exclusives — more coming soon?
These are just the PlayStation exclusives we know about. Sony is clearly eager to bring their library of quality titles to PC, so we expect more announcements to come. Titles we’re hoping for include The Last of Us Part II, Dreams, the inFamous games, Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, and, of course, God of War Ragnarok. It’s surely only a matter of time before some of these titles make their way to PC, though let’s hope we won’t be waiting too long.
